What does this logo mean?

Valid HTML 4.01!

When you see this logo on a webpage it means that the page has been programmed in Valid HTML 4.01, the code that tells your web browser what to display. Many sites on the internet will load in certain web browsers (e.g Internet Explorer) but not in others (e.g Netscape, Opera, etc). By displaying this logo on our webpage we are stating that our page has been programmed within the rules set out by the W3C, the organisation responsible for deciding what the rules of HTML should be, and should display across all browsers.

You may click on this logo wherever you see it and you'll be taken a page on the W3C website confirming that the page is W3C compliant.

At Kamarin we strive to implement excellent standards when creating a website.

What is the W3C?

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) both develops and promotes standard technologies for the Web.

On the W3C Web site, you will find information about Web technologies such as the HyperText Markup Language (HTML), the Extensible Markup Language (XML), the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), W3C's mission, and how W3C operates.
